Why Me?

Our relationship was great when we first started out. He was always there for me when I needed him the most. We were really close and comfortable being around each other. He would always call me in the morning before he went to work just to say he loved me and in the evening he would call just to say goodnight and tell me that he loved me.He was having some problems and he started looking for a second job. He would just stop calling me. He stopped coming to pick me up from school, and worst of all, he started lying to me about where he had been.The turning point in my life was when I came to LovePoetry.com and read Falling in Love With a Player by Lindsey Nicole Milke. I realized that he was just playing me for a fool. Worse than that, he was playing games with my heart.Eventually, I just stopped worrying about him. I kept telling myself that maybe we weren't meant to be together after all. That makes me feel a little better. I also stopped calling him. I have learned to be the better person. I'm not going to let myself fall so quickly next time.My advice to others is not to rush anything during your relationship. Just take your time to truly understand and know the person.
